VHT Valveulator

I have an old Valveulator. It's a combination pedal power supply and a unity gain tube buffer of sorts. I haven't used it much in the last many years. I decided to check it out the other day and found the signal sounded better without it. I plugged into the Valveulator first then a signal booster pedal and a reverb pedal and finally an 18 watt Lite 2b.

Anyway, what I really want to know is, has anyone done anything to modify one of these into... well, anything else?

Does anybody have a schematic?

Could it be turned into D'Lator?
Is it too small to be usable as such?
