Hi Guys!
First post here. Looks like a great forum.
I've been wanting to do a wreck clone, looks like a great source of info.
Here is a link to my humble amp page if your interested.

Thanks Dana.
My mom & stepdad(Ursula McGinnis,Jack Fletcher)retired from Delco.Plants 8&9. It's now Delphi, and half the plants are torn down or closed Time Marches On
I also love Lord Johns Tacos!!!!
I recently noticed an ad in one of my old guitar magazines for a two-channel Trainwreck combo made by Kendrick amplifiers. To my utter surprise, the mailing address was in Pflugerville, Texas where I lived for a good 15 years or so. The address was right down the street too! Wish I would have known about them when I lived there, now they are in Kempner, Texas (which isn't too far away either). Perhaps a factory tour is in order next time I visit the parents .

That would be the Kendrick Climax, which is a much disputed amp in the affect that it was KF design. It's more so a Kendrick than anything.
Cliff, are you coming to the Austin Amp Show? If you are, swing by my demo room (Tonic Amps).
When is the show? I'm at school in Lubbock right now (just got into grad school!) as an EE and so this, combined with my work at PAiA and personal projects, doesn't leave me much time to head back to Austin, let alone do much else. I can always find an excuse to make it down though .

I worked at plant 7 IIRC. It was right on the bypass. I was a radio repairman there for 3 years and use to repair about 100 car radios in a 8 hr shift. I guess now they are all built in Mexico. We lived there during the blizzard of the winter of 78/79 and decided to move back to WV. Too much snow My wife's sister and brother in law and their family still live there. He retired from the Chrysler transmission plant. His name is Walt Osborn. We haven't been back in years but may make a trip back to visit in July for a family reunion. If Lord John is still in business I will be beating a path to his door for tacos . He just had the little place there on Markland when I lived there. We lived on the north side of town a few block away from the old Libby's canning factory. Lots of good memories of the stop light city (except for the Blizzard )

Welcome to the asylum Chris.
Hey Dartanion,
I am planning on swinging by the show in Austin. What room are you in?
Will you have the Fanes there for testing?
The entry fees looked a little rich for my small operation.

Hey Billy,
Yes sir, I will have Fanes there loaded in a variety of cabinets. Mostly 212 and 412s. The price for these shows is a bargain compared to NAMM.
