OH, cool.
rhinson,
Thanks for reminding me I'm building the 60.
Maybe you can tell me if the stand-offs and tube socket fasteners were
#4-40 TPI or #6-32 TPI. Mine are drilled & countersunk already but I
have this nagging OCD feeling.
I appreciate the help, each and every time.

I would like to build one of these if someone would be kind enough to send me the information...
Many thanks.

EDIT: Thanks to those who helped a fellow builder and sent the files!

the second comet started up without problems! no problems with noise or ghosting. had to increase the bias resistor to 10k to get in the right bias range though

Do you mean the 470 ohm 1 watt resistor was increased to 10K?

yes, exactly. this depends on the tubes of course. but 10k gave a much more usable range than 470. the pin 5 voltage was about -78v with the 470 and roughly -50v with the 10k

Wow! What PT did you use? What is your B+ voltage at the standby switch? I see in your other post that you are in a 240V part of the country.

Giving this a bump. Anyone have these files so I can have a look? Probably not going to build this, just want to have a look. Thanks.

Hi, If it's not too much trouble, could someone shoot me the files as well? Have a long winter ahead...
Edit: Got it, thanks!
