This one is a Skyline, Loop-a-lator, 2290, 2x12 oval back with g12-65's and my 93 Fender RF ultra

Very nice playing and great sound... enough to make me ask a couple of dumb questions:

... does 'high plate' mean a 'high value plate resistor' or a high plate voltage as occurs (if I'm not mistaken) with a lower value plate resistor?

and

... what creates that instantaneous increase in the note volume just as the string is plucked? Your 5th note is an example.

Is that something that's inherent in any particular dumble design, or is it a secret that only some know.

Did I mention... really nice playing and great sound.

Nice guitar sound , but try to get the space (reverb delays) of the backing track in context with the guitar or it all sounds a bit wrong.

Nice clip and playing. Very close to Robbens Sound,

However, IMO your clip would benefit from much less reverb, which makes it a little 80's sounding. Try a dry backing track with only a tad slap delay (116-168 ms) on the lead guitar, which in effect will move the nice guitar sound forward in the mix.

Yeah, this is my 3rd, I have an 84 esprit, the 93 Japanese ultra, and the Last Custom Shop Greg fessler RF ULtraSP ever made (according to Greg).

I'm having alot of fun with this little recording setup, This clip took 10 minutes total!!

I don't know if there is 1 thing that causes the bloom, maybe more of a sum of many things, and perhaps the way I struck/fingered that particular note? that amp is all modern parts, modern transformers, and Lead free solder (YUCK!!).
