Hey Mark, thanks man! We have very simlar results.
Ive got 130 and 88 on the EF86 with 2.9 on K
Bit more on the PI tho, all same cept i have 300 and 294 on the plates.
KT;s running 460 plates and 461 screens with 33 at the cathode. This being pretty cool, i raised the bias voltage to try and get near 70percent as i read Zee runs them pretty hot. That bought the plate down to about 420V with a 5U4G. Im gonna put the GZ34 back in and have a play with it.

I am going to play with different recitifier tubes and see what happens, I need to see if I have 2A or 3A on that PT to use a 5U4.

This circuit makes for a nice amp but then so does the JTM 45.
