Original Celection v30 and Express?

Post by andresound »

Any thoughts on an Original "made is Ipswich, England" V30 (or two) and its compatability with a TRAINWRECK EXPRESS.

I have heard they suffer the ICE PICK (mid peak) syndrome!

I run my express amps through a 412 loaded with Ipswich V30's and my customer liked what he heard as well. I also like the WGS Veteran 30 which is not as bright as their Retro 30 (V30 derivative). Also like the Mojotone equivalent as well, they are made with good parts.
