Hi!
After few years break of building amps now i,m buildinig Princeton reverb.
I have read several discusions about material choice here -resistors ,caps ..
CC,MF ,r.g.keen,advice about cc resistors.I have read good about PRP resistors. My plan is:
fixed bias,
caps:BLUE SOZO evt. Jupiter but i have no experience with them
electrolyitics: F&T
Resitors : PRP GP 1W ,
- CC gain stage ,reverb ,tremolo in plate position 1W
-PI what is recomended for plate ?
- input grid resistor V1 dale rd 65 ,prp,or CF Takman ?
- cathode resistors PRP ?
-tone slope resistor 100k ?
-I use 1,5k screen resistors on 6v6 -also PRP ?
Thanks for any advices

Re: princeton reverb
Why do you want to use 1.5k screen resistors and not the stock Fender 470 ohm?

Re: princeton reverb
The PR never had any screen resistors.

Hi !
I use plan from Brieskorn.de Sorry i wrote incorect - i mean grid resistors .I know thats not original ,but works very well.

Re: princeton reverb
The deluxe reverb got them and the deluxe has a plate voltage of only 5 volts more than the princeton's , if it where building the amp I would plan on adding them!

Of course it's a good idea. I was just saying there were no stock 470Ω resistors on the screens of a PR.Stevem wrote:The deluxe reverb got them and the deluxe has a plate voltage of only 5 volts more than the princeton's , if it where building the amp I would plan on adding them!
