Guys
I'm up hooking up the power tube circuit on my twin tube Rocket. I see that most builds "fly" the resistors perpendicular to the boards. Is this for aesthetic value or noise cancelling issues?
So in other words you gotta do it that way?
Thanks!

In theory, theory is the same as practice. In practice it's different.
Re: Two Qestions: Question #1
I don't know the exact reason why but in the trainwreck style amps lead dress is VERY IMPORTANT so my best advice to you would be do it as close as you can to the diagrams in the file section. Good luck with your build!!

Re: Two Qestions: Question #1
I assume that you are talking about the grid-stopper resistors? For them to be effective, it is important that they be soldered directly to the tube sockets with very short leads. I don't think that it is critical that they are "standing," but the routing for the wire should be away from or run perpendicular to OT and filament leads.JoeCon wrote:Guys
