In my spare time I've been know to work on people's teeth from home with my DIY dent-a-kit from Ceriatone. The pain only lasts around a couple hours after the procedure and if you're worried about the flesh eating rash on the lower portion of your face, don't worry, it's normal and happens to all my patients and should be gone within a couple weeks, that is, if you still have a face by then. Most regrow their face in due time.

Then there's Dr. Fang DDS, from one of the obscurer Pink Floyd album covers.  I just googled Fang DDS, there's hundreds of 'em!
edit: semi failed memory, upon research it was Mr. W R Phang, dental surgeon, and was part of the original cover of "A Nice Pair". Apparently Mr Phang objected "as dentists are not allowed to advertise". In later editions that photo was replaced by a gargling monk.
