Re: ODS on the 'Bay
It is real. He listed it on the Gearpage with a buy it now of $75,000!!!!
My friend spoke to him on the phone before finding out the price. He has 2 amps. He bought this used 7 years ago. John Mayer already spoke with him about buying it. He feels he will get $60,000+
I hear is just an amateur player who collects vintage gear. Interestingly enough, the Ebay auction has no reserve!!

Dogears is right.
Hard for anything on ebay with the 'D' name to slip past HAD's attention (or John Mayer's since he's a keen collector). Other photos are on Rob Livesey's site under unknowns.

Re: ODS on the 'Bay
This amp is one of 5 amps that was sold originally out of Chicago by a guy that used to advertise in VG a lot, Schmidt or something close was his name. His company was Class Axe, or again, something close to that. He had at least one combo and then three or 4 heads. If you have any of the late '90's VG mags the ads will be in there as will be this very amp. I've been inside two of the heads. I've got pics of at least one I can probably dig up. I didn't know about a lot of the info Funk just threw down, I hope the pics I have will show something. Both amps I saw had solid black chassis'.

The seller has reserved the right to end the auction at any time so I doubt it will reach the end.

Man, I've got way too many pics and no organization. Here's a pic that I "think" is of one of these amps. If anybody recognizes it from somewhere else please holler as it could be but I'm pretty sure it's what I'm looking for.

That is not 215. I believe that is 207, the amp the schematic heaven "conversation" write up was about. One of the Ampgarage guys took it.

I thought it looked too fuzzy for one of mine. I'll keep looking for the pic I wanted. I need to get organized.

Re: ODS on the 'Bay
OK, sorry for the misfire. Here's a pic of one of those 5 amps I mentioned. This is not the same amp I posted the outside shot of above although that amp is one of the 5 as well. The combo on ebay is from this same batch and in fact my friend that owned this one got it from the same guy the guy on ebay got his from. So, what do the experts think?

Good pic! Haven't seen that one yet. Any chance of a slightly higher rez version? I'd love to see the resistor bands in the P.I. section.
Thanks so much.

Perfect! Just checking on whether this has the newer style PI section. It doesn't. So, nothing new except trimmer positions clearly visable.
Who know which trimmer is which?
Thanks for the pic.
