Been a while since i let my 30 watt rockster go so i decided to gut a knackered Mesia with a blown power transformer and do a Ken special and build a amp out of the bits i had handy.
Got the power section fired up tonight and should have the preamp wired and ready to go over the next week, i may well use the unused half of v2 for a extra gain stage at some point when i,ve cleared my desk lol
Hers some pics
Critism is welcome if anyone spots something

I,ve got a whopping great toroidal transformer underneath, the wingnut acts as a lock nut in a plain nut making it easy to remove if needed.
A few more pics of completed face plate
Heres the completed face plate, 1/16 steel with a laminated birdseye veneer, train logo and basic labeling

That's really pretty, except for the on/off labels look out of place to me.
