Distance Between Heater Wires and OT Stuff
I'm deciding where to run the heater leads from my PT. They have to go past the OTs. I'm trying to find the best place to run them. I'm thinking the main thing is to keep them far from the coils inside the transformers and to avoid running them parallel to the coils. Right or wrong?

I like easy solutions!!
I took a length of aluminum foil and wrapped my lines with it. I attached a grounding wire to the foil then covered it all with shrink wrap. Works well and looks pretty good too!

I decided to rout it directly to the side of the chassis, where I tacked it in place with a cable tie. It's the green wires twisted together over by the rectifier.
This looks a whole lot better than my first big amp! I know some of the wiring looks sloppy, but I'm roughing in the switch and light wiring before I firm up the design. I removed the standby switch, so I'm not totally sure this thing will work, and I want some slack in case I have to make corrections.
