I would have completed the turn and given it squeeze for good measure with my hemostat before soldering. But I will change my ways, if it's good enough for Nasa...

Not to be a semantics nag,

your work is great but not all of that would qualify as ptp.

Awesome work, but not ptp. Somehow people have a trouble with this, it starts here and then just keeps building simple as that, can't get anymore expository than this:

it really depends on the mechanical joint.

wirewrap is a solderless construction method.
