Hit me up w/ a PM, as I'll probably do the Marshall maybe w/o the trem. I thought I knew my Marshall schematics pretty well but never saw the 1930. Might just do it as another little open hifi style like my 5C1 seeing as I only need room for 3 tubes.

The Bogen too intrigues as I have a 6EU7s that I've always wanted to use.

Thanks.

Yes, it is overshadowed by its larger cousins. I believe they were only sold through the mail - from a Marshall catalog or something like that.

10thTx, dude you are one of the most helpful dudes ive seen here.
Offering time, which for me trying to draw a schemo, is considerable.
Hat off.

I built a HoSo56 with 6BM8's. Nice amp. Very touch sensitive with good harmonics. It was about 7-9 watts. Geezer came up with the HoSo56.

Here is a version that I drew up for you with 6GW8's. Not sure I drew the pinout correct? And I'm not sure what value cathode resistor you'd need? But hopefully you get the idea.

Did you really just draw this up for this post! Thanks! I'm curious why the choice the forgo the built in triode section and use an extra PI here?

BTW for anyone following and interested the Hoffman schematic for the Marshall 1930 is hard to read, here's a cleaned up one I found via google images. Looks like Marstran originally:

You're welcome! No big deal. I just grabbed an editable schematic and edited it. Just took a few minutes.

Best regards, 10thtx
