Well - done! That's quite a good first effort and since it is a fairly complex circuit for a newbie, I think you have done exceedingly well. Any issues on the sound front?

Yeah, I have a few issues:
1. There is some hum, but it is not bad until the master is dimed and even then the guitar is much loader than the hum. Could be normal.
2. The tremolo makes a thumping noise when the gain and master are up. I have heard that most tube tremolo's are a little noisy. I tried using a 20 nf cap across the LED, but that didn't really help.
Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with it.
Here are some clips. Unfortunately, my recording process doesn't seem to capture the low end thump this thing has. I also forgot to mention that I used a choke in this build.
