PAB HELP - Tweedy result

I am trying this alternate method for the PAB, that connects the 10k Bass leg to the Midpot outer leg. I simply moved the relay wire over to the midpot entrance. Its working, sort of. What I now have with the PAB engaged is a sort of Tweedy sound but it is not much of a boost, just a tone change. This tweedy tone is interesting but I do miss the boost aspect. Do I have this wired incorrectly?

Try connecting the bass 10k to the outside mid leg
Place a 220k resistor from the mid connection to ground.
Hook the pab to each side of the resistor.

Some people use a 470k there, this is known as the mega boost.

Is this correct on the 220k to midpot or should it be at the entrance

This is wired like the mid boost you are only shorting across the 220k

So you could connect the middle of the bass pot to the treble
and just use one side of the relay

like this version of the dilite
