Serial number places it at 1980. Probably one of the last before the JCM800 cosmetics. Was originally shipped with 6550 however it's been converted to EL34. That's okay as I already have a 2204 (1982 JCM800) running GE 6550's. I think I hijacked this thread!ampgeek wrote:NICE! Looks like an excellent score.

Yes indeed RP. They are certainly culpits in that ill spent youth thing!
No way Dave. That is not hijacking by any stretch. It is relavent input which adds to the "database" for me and anyone else interested in the same topic.
I was surprised to see that it has a stand-up PT. I guess that I just assumed that all Marshalls used laydown types. Again, I am definitely not up to speed on "early" Marshall morphology.
