Soliciting opinions on this clone

Post by vibratoking »

I have the possibility to pick this up locally for around $500. I actually like buying other peoples clones because the price can be right and it allows me to avoid many of the hassles related to a fully scratch build. I am looking for a good mod platform. I can't tell what transformers those are, but I bet you guys know. Marshall guys - please pick it apart and tell me what you think. Pics are kinda low res, but that's all there is at the moment.

Looks like organ or audio chassis pull transformers. My best Marshall plexi is using a custom standup style Dumble ODS 100w Heyboer PT

Thanks Mark. I just got some more info on the transformers: "OT is "PLUSH PT 1000". The other says F-C 512-14633E"

I don't recognize the 512 EIA code?
