Re: Metroamp jtm45 OT dilemma
Sorry for poor information... The impedance switch on 4 ohm, this I intended for configuration...

Re: Metroamp jtm45 OT dilemma
So impedance switch on 4 ohm, two 8 ohm cabs in parallel to make a 4 ohm load (Zpri = 3k4), and the KT66? Looks like that is what you are showing in the photo.
Re: Metroamp jtm45 OT dilemma
Oh no, I did a mistake when 2 cab are connected in parallel the impedace is divided in two...
such a shame! I had to connect just only one cab to achieve 6.6K on KT 66. Sorry was the excitement...

Goodmornig guys,
aftrer two day of try and re-try IMHO I can say that: KT66 with 3K4 Zpri is my favorite sound.
I don't know why but using my hart and my ears only I made this choice.

Re: Metroamp jtm45 OT dilemma
What differences do you hear between the 3k4 and 6k8 load? Is it a big change in the sound or more subtle?
Re: Metroamp jtm45 OT dilemma
IMHO the difference is big. I've tried the same setting bass 0, mid 5, treble 7-8 and bright volume 9(now gain because il PPIMV) with les Paul traditional 2012, fender stratocaster American standard with EMG SA DG. The 3k4 sound feel like a EL34's. Big mid, creamy and smooth distortion; looks like a plexi lead...
Re: Metroamp jtm45 OT dilemma
3k4 achieve with two 1922 cab connected in partake with 8 ohm rotary switch...
