AB763 One Channel Super Reverb Clone. Occilating reverb.

Post by wildeman »

Just built a AB763 one channel clone. Everything is working fine except the reverb. It seems to have to much gain. Hiss and crackle noise when the mix pot is at zero. when I turn the mix pot up hiss dissapears, distortion comes up and it starts occilating. I double checked everyting and can't figure out what's wrong. I replaced every part and it just won't go away.
Need some help on this.

Did you forget to add the 220k grid leak on the recovery tube?
