I thought you ruled that out above by measuring the DCR from the opposite end of the cables?

Yeah I did and I'm guessing the issue was corrected by then. I took all the readings I did and they looked good (Based on the Mojo tank) so I plugged it into the amp. Before, when trying out both units, the original seemed to be open. I'm still assuming the issue was with the jacks. Either way, I'm glad it's alive and well.
