1970 Silverface Bassman - Hum in Bass Channel only

Good news! I re soldered all the pin connections on the humming channel and the hum is gone. I was having some signal drop when poking the pins with an input signal.

But right after the weird thing is that the amp squeals when I turn the volume to maximum even without anything plugged in. But after having the amp ON for sometime the squeal is gone...I am puzzled. I wonder if my tube socket needs replacement.

Another thing which I noticed is a different noise/hum now (attached), this time being is sensitive to the volume pot and increases as you turn the pot towards maximum. But it only becomes more evident at loud volumes. And this also seems to have improved after having the amp On for sometime. Go figure.

I will report back if it reappears.
