Don't stay in the background. The biggest part of learning is throwing stuff against the wall and seeing what sticks. Sometimes even the best of us look beyond the obvious.

Speaking of throwing stuff at the wall, I've had a loose pin on a power tube socket give me rattly fuzz. Drain the caps first then tension, and buy the $3.95 sockets not the $2.95 ones :lol:
