Checked my notes, 330-0-330 wound for 120V. With whatever I had at the wall I got 362 w/ 5V4, 348V w/ 5Y3. -20V across the 250R so 38mA w/ the 5V4. Perfect for me, sounded great. I like it too cause it's low enough to play with a 5AR4 or a ss plug in thing, which I've never tried and should.

That's it exactly. I have the 18W Marshall clone and for some reason I feel that a Tweed Deluxe clone would be a nice addition.

Think I'll split the difference on the power transformer. The grossly overpriced company (Mercury) has a 350-0-350 or a 335-0-335.

Thanks to everyone for the replies.

I'd also endorse Mission Amps 5E3. It comes with excellent oversized transformers and a sturdy chassis that's got some thoughtful extra holes etc for tweaking.

Ultimately I was under impressed with mine as a Deluxe. As sketched in my earlier post it got converted to a 5E9 circuit without tremolo. And that made me quite happy. Now running typically with 6L6 & GZ34 for max headroom the transformers handle that just fine. It is in a pine cabinet of tweed Super dimensions, with 2x10". A while back I lent it to a friend. And apparently I'm now selling it as he isn't giving it back.

Best .. Ian

+1 on the Mission amp. Built my own pine cab for it and its a sweet amp. Henry advised me on a slight tone/vol mod which I love, still have the tweed thing going.
