Post by Bananafist »

Marsh don't seem to be selling these anymore, anyone know another supplier? Maybe also for face/back plates?
Thanks

Look on ebay I asked if they fit Marsh/mojotone chassis and they said yes.

Thanks. I have another source for faceplates too, but its getting the chassis that's the problem. I could only find blackface chassis on Mojotones site.

Looks like they sold all of the chassis/faceplate sets too late.

Also, Marsh still lists the 6g6-b amp kit but not chassis, just email Mike and ask about chassis/faceplates. http://store.marshamps.com/product_info ... pa3tetir55

I ordered a Tremolux from TAD and it was high quality product.

They have a brown bassman which appears to be 6g6b correct. I would just use either a blank seaside chassis made to order or mojotone BF bassman and drill hole for presence.

If you use the correct brown faceplate on the BF chassis, the channel input holes will not line up. The brown input holes are higher, however the BF input holes are on the same plane as the BF pot holes.

Here's one of my 6G6B builds using the Marsh chassis, faceplate and Mojo cab.

Yes, nice build!
Marsh are out of stock and don't plan to re-stock for some months.
Yes, TAD were the other supplier for the brown face plates I had in mind.
The blackface chassis is a slightly different size and pot/input holes in wrong places (no bright switches on brown amps).
I might try Seaside, but I'd prefer a drilled/punched chassis.
