Princeton Reverb: PPIMV or VVR

Hi, folks.
Subject says it all. I'm about to start a PR build (mostly from a Weber kit, Heyboer trafos + a few niceties) and wanted some control of overall volume.

I was inclined for the VVR, but worry about the reverb.
Maybe the PPIMV is simpler and works well enough?

Bedroom player here, BTW. Currently living in an apartment

What's your experience on this amps?

I've done PPIMV's on Fenders. You can knock off some volume, but you'll lose "sparkle" if you go too far.

With regard to VVR, you can just reduce the power to the power section, but not the preamp/reverb. I've never done it on a Fender though.

VVR works well - reverb and trem hang on when you scale the whole amp

If you build it with cathode bias it's real simple to add

I think I'll go with the VVR, scaling the whole amp. I was pretty confident about the tremolo but unsure about the reverb. If it works, then why not VVR? (Don't really need reverb that much anyway, just a touch is more than enough. Haven't use any reverb for a while now...)

I'll need to experiment a bit between cathode and fixed bias, but presently leaning more towards fixed bias.
