silverface bandmaster OT

Post by andrew »

My friend is looking for an OT upgrade on his SF Bandmaster. I sent him the Magnetic Components site. What are some other good OTs. Thanks for any help.

I know there's a lot of debate, but I like the mercury transformers a lot. Worth the extra money and if you don't mind the plastic bobbin

*** OOOPS MISREAD THE QUESTION - find an old one from the same erea (or from a VibroluxReverb or ProReverb)
- for a detailed/tighter sound: MM
- for less cash/etc. but still ok: Classic Tone *********

uPGRADES:
LOTS OF GUYS DO LIKE the larger Bassman OT, drilling two extra holes is needed but who cares if it's a player

then there's MM, I really like them, so bf clones (Bandmaster of Bassman) will work greatly
