Fender style cabs

Post by heritageamps »

is there any interest in a Fender style cab in kit form? I and a friend are in the process of creating blackface style cabs now, from champ all the way to twin reverb.

these will be completely cut out of solid pine with either 1/2 or 1/4 finger joints at the corners, but not rounded over. all pieces including back panels, mounting cleats for baffle and back panels and baffle & grille board. back panels, grille board and baffle will be made from the appropriate size birch plywood.

estimated cost at this point is around $150-250 plus shipping costs, depending on cab size. custom options will be available such as holes drille for chassis mounting, handle moutning, tilt back mounting, etc.

they will be dry assembled for proper fit and shipped unassembled ready for immediate assembly.

PM me for more information.

Guy on ebay does them finished down to ready for covering at a price you can't beat with a schtick. Hard row to hoe..
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

Just saw this old thread and was wondering if you have a contact number, email address since I've been looking for a fender 2 - 12 guitar cabinet to go along with my 6G6-B Bassman head.
