I spent a day of hours trying to recoup the time I spent reflowing the whole amp after doing enough to make it run at all.

It does it but not so bad as it was. Still not fixed. I have a 30 minute shot at it in the AM and then the owner can replace the amp and I'll only have lost a day of labor trying to fix it. I hate losing to anything.

Isolated to between the fx return to the output. You are probably right.

I replace the 100K and 91K PI plate resistors on those. They cause all kinds of weirdness. And this I got straight from Fender.

I worked on one that did weird things. It was a bad Illinios Capacitor 500V power supply cap.
