My new stupid idea - Excelsior!

I'm putting this in the Fender section so the laughing doesn't make me feel like more of a dumb*ss than usual.

I think I want to split a 50W ODS of some sort into a Fender Excelsior chassis pair - I like 15" speakers. The two knobs on top become the masters, the other controls go on the back of the preamp chassis.

I'll have to bend some metal to make the power-amp chassis strong enough for the iron, but I'll wind up with a living-room-compatible ODS ... assuming the iron even fits in the depth in some orientation.

Well there is the Ceriatone mini ODS lunch box available in chassis form not just lunch box style, maybe that would fit the Excelsior cab?

I asked about snagging the PCB earlier, but Nik said he'd abandoned the project. You got news?

I was sorta' thinking Brown Note D'Lite22 ... or 88 If they're shipping again.

Yeah the amp is finished and as far as I know Nik is open to some options for builders you just need to email him and talk.
