FedEx lost shipment

Post by M Fowler »

Got my notice from Fedex that my Weber order was sitting at my door at 3:44 pm. I am at work until 4:30 drive across town to pickup wife then across town to pickup grand daughter and then home.

The package is not there! So now comes the chasing down the lost package and re-imbursement process.

Oof... It takes a special kind of a-hole to go out a'stealing in cold like this. Here's hoping it got brought back to Fedex and is safe.

How about this one:

A Sonoma family of 4 was killed in a traffic accident on their way home from the airport the day after Thanksgiving. A multi DUI driver ran through a red light a t boned their van. Very tragic indeed. Here is the kicker. A local pair of crooks burgaled the home of the family after seeing the story on the news.

On the lighter side....

I once had package from New Sensor show at my door that wasn't mine.
I was so hoping that it was for me, it wasn't. I was so bummed.
I called and it was collected by the UPS dude, I was more bummed.
May be it was the same package......

There was a rash of theft's of small propane tanks where I'm at.
It's cold..... and most don't mind.... hope it helped....

better than selling dope, I bet it sucks to be them....

The look on their face, they open the box ...... "what the frig is this?!!!"

Unfortunately, they are probably using the propane as coolant for their meth labs. At least that's how it seems here in East Kentucky...

I once paid for an ebay-won guitar via USPS Postal Money order. The recipient said it wasn't necessary for signature. Well, guess what happened?

The day it arrived was the same day all the state tax refund checks were delivered to his block. Each and every mailbox was emptied. Since it was never cashed, can only assume the thief threw it out.

Good story is the seller shipped my guitar anyway (did have delivery confirmation). After the 90 day wait, got the refund and sent it to him.

Fed Ex doesnt get signatures. They don't even ring the bell. Luckily I am retired so I am usually here. I am waiting for them to drive by, slow down and just throw the box at my house next!!!

Well today the box shows up with no explanation from Fedex, no email, and no phone call. I wonder if they didn't deliver it yesterday or maybe a good neighbor got the box by mistake and brought it over today.

Too friggen cold for us neighbors to stand outside visiting if you know what I mean. burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

This subject also makes me wonder why the manufacturers print their names so HUGE on the outside of their boxes!?

Order a new amp from musician's fiend and there sits a giant box on the porch with a big MARSHALL logo stenciled on it...scary. Not that I would ever consider a new Marshall...

Heyboer sent me Dana's transformers. I thought it was Christmas appreciation for being a loyal customer etc. "Here Dan, try these out. Love Phil"

No such luck. Same last name. Oh well.

Bought a couple of phigas a while back...he shipped from tx on a thursday...tuesday one shows up and nobody knows where the other is...saturday afternoon rolls around and they tell me that I will need to go through the lost package process...at 5:01pm they run up the driveway and leave the other guitar at the edge of the garage without a signature  I've always wondered where that thing went "on vacation".
