I think pantera was about my third concert. I was 16 . Was one of the best shows ove seen. Remember moshing? this was more like fight to the death. :x

Heck I always got Pantera mixed up with Sepultura... yeh I know, what a dummy I am. Woppita woppita kerrrang bash bish, who could tell? Sorry fans. :(

I saw sepultura on accident in Lampey MO i bet they were as freaked out by the crowd as we were by them.
I wouldn't put pantera in the same category as far as talent.

Pantera put DFW (by way of...Arlington) back on the map for Heavy Metal. I never saw Pantera but I did get a chance to see Damage plan right before Dimebag was killed.

I serviced one of the tape machines used to track Cowboys from Hell a few years back. MCI 2 inch machine. Vinnie Paul owned a few strip clubs around town, and I believe a couple bars and music venues. Interesting guy to say the least.
