My wife works as a contractor for White Pine Pictures. They are working on a film about the guitarist for Bob Dylan's band called "The Band", his name is Robbie Robertson and he used to live here in Toronto.
Martin Scorsese was nice enough to agree to lend out his office in New York city for the film company to come down and interviewed Bruce Springsteen, David Geffen , Carly Simon, and also Martin Scorsese for the film. In the next few weeks they maybe flying out to England to interview Eric Clapton. I told her to get them to ask Eric about the amp that Dumble is building for him!
They also went down to Bob Dylan's office to look at 31 hours of video that was shot in the 1960's and 70's . They let them sit there and watch the videos. This is video that Bob has of himself on stage and before the shows and after the shows that someone else recorded for him and only he has it. The film company wanted to buy some of the video to put it in their film. The price for 1 minute of this video was $10,000 usd !
Just wanted to share ..
Cheers

Man that’s really cool
Re: Robbie Robertson documentary: Testimony
I just heard from the film company that Eric Clapton has confirmed to do an interview for this documentary early next week ! Man I would also be intimidated to have to interview big names like that. We had the film crew, that will be flying out to do the interviews, over at our place recently. They are a young crowd, but they are a very eager bunch and very thrilled to get a chance to ask Eric a bunch of questions about his time playing in the late 60's and early 70's. I will post more if I get more info from them.
Cheers
