Chrimahanakwwah.

Post by Firestorm »

Apparently nobody wants to engage me on Luke's gospel. No matter.

I will say that in a time of so much strife, we should remember the one possibly accurate thing reported in the Gospels: that you should love God with all your heart and all your soul and your might. And love your neighbor as yourself.

There's a thing in the Bhagavad Gita almost as profound, but I think the Nazarean guy hit it out of the park.

So kind of you to say. I cut enough hogs in there to be in bacon for a few months....

Jesus was an historical person. He did something to piss off the Romans enough to kill him. Didn't take much to piss off the Romans, though. But the people be hung around with were so impressed with what he said to devote their lives (even sacrificing them) to repeat it. Read Paul.

I'm not afraid to say that Jesus is my buddy. I know not everybody thinks like me, but he's my buddy and that's that.

Merry Christmas to everybody, whether this is your holiday or not!
Don't you boys know any NICE songs?

Nice to hear people say it out loud. Jesus was an actual person. Made an indelible mark. So was Mohamed (peace be upon him). Lord Krishna, maybe not so much, but I revere him, too.

Many gifts are given, but it is the same God who is served. Paul said that I think.
