Amp Parts Direct
Anyone order from these guys, instead of Triode, for the Mag Comp stuff?
Re: Amp Parts Direct
When I use MCI, that's where I order it from. Not a single complaint from them; they ship same day via USPS priority mail and if it's a PT or OT, they print the spec sheet and include it.

@ToneMerc, do you mean for orders of single trannies or sets? Ordering direct from MCI required a 12-minimum:

I build and repair tube amps. http://amps.monkeymatic.com

Last time i ordered CT transformers i used APD instead of triode and the PT had a small dent on top it was well packed so it had to be dented before they shipped it. I got no reply what so ever to my emails. The PT is still sitting on my shelf.

Re: Amp Parts Direct
That's the other side of the coin I was considering. Does AMP receive and supply a lesser product? Triode seems like a bigger operation, but aren't they both getting around the same % of damaged goods on average,, or is MC picking and choosing what they send? Or is AFD just throwing things around the warehouse?
