NOTAM: Our target for today

Post by Reeltarded »

Gretsched fingerboard.. the foot for the extension has cupped and the board needs to slide aboit the width of a needle. This requires a heat lamp, some shades, a couple shims, a couple clamps.

timer just kicked brb

Nifty idea with the heat lamp - Are you just softening the glue and reclamping? Or are you wicking glue into the extension?

Only heated enough to make the glue budge. When a spit dab evaporates in 4-5 seconds. That is a technical measurement.

so when the glue cools down, it reseats the tongue? I always thought you had to reglue those things with fresh glue once you broke the bond.

Yahsur

Sparky but the lighting vs this camera really sucks lemme see if I can rep the beating this thing has taken.

This guitar's purpose has been closing shows with a Day of the Eagle/Too Rollin' Stoned or very rarely Watchtower. I got pissed off at a publisher and kicked it across a studio once and sob spun a thousand times before it busted a baseboard loose. haw!! I used to have a pretty good temper.

Never too far from the tree. We're all real lucky nothin's fallen off of me.

Penny the Penguin

I have not yet kicked this guitar into another dimension, yet. First time for everything though? Ehh dunno.

Gretsches are Retsches. I wish it had filtertrons. the tailpiece is a work of art and the tiny ruby at the arrow point on the knobs makes you feel pretty and glitter and unicorns and rainbows shoot out your ass.

Checking is massive. Natural light shows it well.

60 refin body with replacement neck.

Take a vote. Have original dupont LPB, Sherwood, Sonic, Daphne, Shoreline, and OTM. Sonic and. Sherwood look very good under a green guard.

Have reds too. No.

In other news I need 3 black bobbin pickups. I lost the set. Trade PAFs.
