I was wondering why I hadn't seen any new chassis listed on ebay. Now I know why.

Hopefully everyone is ok!

I went back to the site hoping to place an order. Bummer. I've used several of his chassis and found them to be very good. Any one know of an alternative, or is it time to buy a brake.

I use his chassis all the time and I did see that he was having problems on another forum. Shop burned down I think.

It took a lot of emails back and forth between Ken Watts at turretboards and myself and Colossal before he started making the 17.5 x 8 x 2.5 and some other sizes.

He finally gave in and started folding some and they are good chassis. If you like yours welded but don't have tig welder you could use aluma weld.

The Ken Watts chassis are really good, a little beefier than the Dawgs and I've used a bunch of them as well. I got the Dawgs because of the "custom size" option, as I like working with 15-16 inch chassis for grab and go amps. Great for 15 Watt Rockets, and even a Small Special will fit into a 16" grab and go.

That sucks. DDawg's alumiwelded chassis were, IMO, the best around. Customer service was awesome too. I wish him the best.

Bummer :(
I used his chassis on all my builds.
Great customer service too. What now?? Have to look elsewhere.
Hope Brian is ok.

Man what a bummer.

I may have used one of his chassis before.

Sad that another source bites the dust.

What a shame! Brian did great work on a couple odd/unique chassis for me over the last couple of years.
I hope that he had enough insurance to recover without too much pain and can fairly easily get back up and going.
