Snake in Garage

Post by boots »

I know it's not as cool as an alligator, but I just evicted a 4 foot bull snake from my garage. More than enough adrenaline for one day. I just had to tell somebody.

I don't like snakes. Had too many close calls with venomous snakes. No. I do not like them.

Bull snake ..... variant of gopher snake ...... looks way too much like a rattler for comfort. Adrenaline indeed!

Glad that's all it was, and all is safe with you.

Did I mention ..... I really, really don't like snakes?

Got struck (but luckily narrowly missed getting envenomated) by a cotton-mouth moccasin back in the day. Still have nightmares about snakes to this day.

I like snakes. Nasty big ones. Not to own or anything. I like a challenge.

Should see some pretty big rattlers this year. Serious rat problems. :)

I got one as big around as my arm once. Always looking for that next strat refin. :)

You only need 18" wide and 2" of that can be belly. Looks great with a green guard and rust.

It's hangin' in the garage right now. I'd be glad to stuff it in a box and mail it if somebody wants to make something out of it. I don't really want to mess with skinning it though. You get the whole snake (head separately).

I don't like snakes either.

I likes snakes.
Only gator I've seen was on a plate.
Not sure if I could bond with a live one.
But I likes snakes.
And I miss Snakey my pet garter snake.

Well, my son laid claim to the skin, since he helped me corner the snake. He only got about a 16 inch long section, since we kinda hacked the rest of it pretty badly in our excitement.

Next snake we kill we be reserved for TAG members, though.
