RIP George Jones

Post by Buschman »

I liked him. A friend of mine played lead for him at 18 years old. I am sure the possum was still touring!
I've got blisters on my fingers!

I was fortunate enough to see him a couple of times.
He could, in fact, get hold of a song, and make time stand still.
I was there. He did it.

R.I.P. George, always real.
It's never too late to have a happy childhood.

I don't think anyone would object to calling him truly great, when nearly evrything is called great, but most of it isnt. Hell of a good and nice guy too from what Ive hear. A Giant , and it will be a very very long time before anyone ever fills G.J.'s shoes.
Mad Gooper- must be stopped before I Goop again!
