I've played that song on the three most famous mandolins ever built and seen just about everyone except Judas Priest play it too. hah..
Ah-IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiieeeeee... my imagination says that would be kinda wild.

Cool! I've always wanted a nice F-style. They are a thing of beauty

I like an F-4 best because I am not looking for atomic chop. I like the sustain and cuppy mids like a guitar. My buddy Randy makes the best mandolins ever but I can't afford one, so I play Gibsons. heh

I paid less than the tuners cost now for my F-4, way less. The more I look at it the more it looks like amp parts though! I have a punkin A-0 around in one of the closets my crap lives in. I need to dumpo the other mando for wire and wood that gets loud. My old hands are too big for mandolin playing now. All my weight goes to my fingers!

Some of the best mando pickers I've seen have been great big ol boys.

True. I guess what I love most is when country, gospel, and bluegrass kind of meet up. The soundtrack from 'O Brother, Where Art Thou' still gives me an eargasm.cbass wrote:There's tons of new country I like.Just not the fake pop radio crap. That a'int country
