I just watched "Making of 'A Night At The Opera'."
I had forgotten what a great fucking album it is.
I bought it the day it came out. A friend had turned me on to Queen II, and I bought Sheer Heart Attack also on the day it came out.
I'm an idiot, because I never realized the jazz band part in 'Good Company' is all Brian May's guitar.
Their voices blend so perfectly. And have you ever heard a solo that you didn't immediately say "That's Brian May." (well except for that jazz band part in 'Good Company').
What a perfect storm of talented individuals to come together.

"Making of" is one of the best series on music production ever done.
What a contrast from "Behind the Music", which nearly always sucked.
Need to see this one, thanks for the tip Lefty.

My hipster sixteen old daughter informed me she had already seen it on Netflix, so if you have that you can watch it. I paid about five bucks for the vid, and it's worth every penny.Cygnus X1 wrote:"Making of" is one of the best series on music production ever done.
