It took this long?
I can't say it came as a shock or a surprise.
She was a trainwreck that abused anything she could get her hands on. It was only a matter of time and the way she consumed she's been living on borrowed time and luck for years.

Hopefully she finds the peace now she was searching for.

Well not the record label. It's a plus for the record label - they are finally selling off the rest of the albums they had pressed and pulled when she loss popularity.
I guess the rehad center might be at a loss? .. No Wait.. they will start some charity for people with her illness and donate it to the treatment center.

Umm... Maybe the house maid who had to clean around her? No wait she was used to finding her face down in her own bile.

Bob S - thanks for that. It was getting way over the top. Some jokes really aren't that funny. Yes she had a problem.

I appreciate quite a bit of the music that she put out. She carried on some fine traditions of music IMO. It wasn't ground breaking, but she did what she did very well.

I imagine she had more problems than "just" drugs.
If you watch her videos from circa 2003, you will see a nice looking young woman, with a voice that is a real pleasure to listen to. She also helped to bring back "real" entertainment....a talented vocalist with good pitch and a stage full of capable, professional, working musicians.
Too bad the whole thing went to Hell so fast.
