He built almost all of the equipment he uses too including the spot welder, parts of the glass working lathe and the curve tracer you see at the end.

Now THAT'S DIY! Here's a slightly bigger and more "modern" operation. A quad of their KT88s is currently on sale at TubeDepot for only $1395.00!!

Those look pretty seksi though. Bet they sound great in guitar amps and probably last forever too.
