Heck no for reasons Miles & vibratoking have already stated. Plus Miles has had some very complimentary comments lately - glad to see you're feeling better matey! Was some rough going after dental surgery I guess but that's all settled down now.

I miss your old avatar Tom.

And cbass, what sort of kitchen could you build for 595 quid, really. Appliances included? $900 - a Barbie kitchen? ':P' I couldn't even wreck out my kitchen for $900. And it's already a wreck.

I could build and install you a set of cabinets for a small kitchen for under 2 grand. The junk in that price range at the box stores doesn't even come close in quality. Not even comparable.

Here's some I built in tha price range.Nothin fancy but they are solid

I can build some fancy ones too.

Hows that for spam?

I think your prices are grossly undervalued. That cabinetry for a mere $2k? It would be a bargain at twice the price!

Look here .... if you won't charge what you're worth, I can guarantee folks won't pay you what you're worth.

Did you see the price of the house? We poor down hear.If you can manage to make 15 bucks an hour you are doin pretty good for yourself around here.I get more than that but that what a lot of carpenters charge.Plumbers still get 50 bucks an hour for some reason.I can do thier job.Pretty sure most of them couldn't do mine.

I did. Too rich for my blood. If I don't die first, and am forced to retire I'll be in the market for a used trailer on a plot of land .... as far from humanity as possible. I'll have a budget of about $5k for it (if the wife doesn't take it for more shoes). Let me know if you come across a deal, okay?

I'm sure houses in New York are cheaper. You could find a trailer on a couple acres for around 10,000 here

You can still buy land for less than a thousand bucks an acre.It will be aways from any kinda town though

For those who are wondering WTF, kitchen-building is a drift from a now-deleted thread started late Sunday night by spammers in Plymouth England promising to install a kitchen complete with appliances for 595 English Pounds.

And ... an illustration of labor prices comparing the Ozarks (I'm a-guessin') to upstate NY, where you can hire a carpenter for about as much as an MD, per hour. I have a couple of carps for clients. Can't afford to hire them. Gotta do it DIY. Also, the presence of a work truck in the driveway for more than an hour will inevitably attract the most feared of all creatures - the Building Inspector. Next door neighbor is Son of Building Inspector so there's no escape for me.

Nice to know that the public servants are actually doing the job they are paid for.

Not pointing a finger at you cbass. Just sayin...They should do the job they are paid to do. I have seen a lot crap here with our local 'inspectors'. Makes the system a total joke.

Living in this city is a mess if you want to get anything done. The historical society shows up with historians on your dime and they discuss what possible implications changing a 30 year old toliet seat might have on the 17th century piss behind the walls of a house 6 miles away. Then there is the government educated governmental agencies.

I'd rather pooh down an exposed mineshaft or upstairs at a fire station. Always a chance I might lose my footing and I had a good life anyhow.
