It looks like it goes just fine but I wouldn't want to depend on it stopping quite as well. I remember those days.

Great thread. I think there is something about a penchance for music and motorcycles. Not sure how it connects, but it seems to be there. I think I got into both early on, not sure if one was before the other. Anyhow, I didn't have either, just dreamed about riding a motorbike or playing guitar in a band. Still not sure which came first - motorcycles took the forefront over time as I raced motocross then got heavily involved in road racing at the club level. Long story short, racing is a good way to turn a large forune into a small fortune - and you can acquire a lot of scars and aches along the way. I still have bikes, my wife and I enjoy road trips on our Beemers. But nowadays I enjoy the guitars and amps more - they're an everyday thing. Sorry for being long winded but this thread resonated with me.
My Mom says I'm not smart enough to drive a motorcycle
Of course calling myselfa musician would be quit a stretch. But since every nutlick with a hammer and saw calls themself carpenter.I can get away with it.
I grew up ridding bikes, honda 90 at 10 years old was the first, best friend had a 67 bonneville 650 and his dad had a 48 Vincent Black Shadow 1000.
Wrong side shift was an early lesson for me.
Now I own a restored custom 1974 sportster (wrong side shift)and a 2006 Deuce.
Have a kit bike not yet built also.
When I was in my 20's (30-35 years ago) KTM's were very popular.
A friend had a 400 that won a lot of races.
Then he switched to SRW (I think that was the initials) 250 from Spain I believe. It could keep up with the KTM.

Cool! Thanks much! KTM always was a moto-cross brand for me. I must have missed their transition to the road bikes. This looks like they took a few pages off Ducati's playbook and made it better. Best power to weight ratio for a production bike.
