Whatever happens here...

I am a home amp builder, building stuff out of my garage and usually assembling out on the back deck with a fine smokin' grille and a tasty brew and cigar on the back deck.

NO WAY would I ever claim to know much more than what I learned through twenty years of screwing stuff up until I ran into the likes of y'all...and some other Internet sites.

I suppose I could easily play the expert by telling tall tales related both firsthand and vicariously through what I have known and read.

It is below my dignity.

And the NEXT TIME I blow up a set of filter caps...
I'll blame you guys anyways.
:D

If what I see is only half true, GW just has no character.
I could respect the guy if he only said he learned it all from others.

I've been to two of GWs seminars and have most if not all of his books and videos along with many others. Each book has something new and should be appreciated for that. GW has always treated me with respect and been helpful with my phoned in or emailed questions. And if you bother to read his books or attend his classes, he always gives credit for where he learned things from. No one is perfect. I've heard the stories, but frankly I can only talk about experiences not inneuendo. If there have had bad ones nothing I can say there except mine have been good.

Years ago you wouldn't have so much information available maybe too much to build amps with. You take what makes sense and disregard the rest.
