Sure it is. 10 minutes with a screwdriver and I got my Speedfeed stock and my Surefire. Nuthin' like a Surefire to make Bambi stand there and go, "Duh!"

Another 10 minutes to swap back to the walnut stock set and the modified choke barrel, I got a quail gun worthy of Cheney.

If I had to track down one more cool shootin' iron I'd go fer a Winchester 97. John Browning was one clever SOB...

Great home deffense weapon, for when we live in caves again.
Oh, peachy-keen. Want some Krugerrands to go wif yer MP5K?!

When the discussion turns to Class 3 you're gonna need to cash in some Krugerrands due to the steep price of admission. Registered receiver H&K is literally worth its weight in gold, that's what it's gonna cost.

Ya gotta be a well-heeled caveman to keep that thing in ammo.

(whereas I just need 12ga, 45 acp, and .223)

Judgement Day rides on my person. Ever since I was robbed in my yard by thugs who followed me home. Next hood in my yard can be found across the street with a head in it.

9mm is tiny.. outgunned. My Kimber makes a 10 foot flame! :)

I hate thugs.
Reel, I have a Glock 9mm reserved for special thugs.... they will be hit with a 115g JHP fired through a handgun signed by "Terrible" Ted Nugent Himself!

You can NEVER have too many guitars, amplifiers, horsepower or firearms ... that's just crazy talk ...

You got that right Casey. an MP5K will eat through ammo like Rosie O'dumba$$ at an all you can eat Chinese buffet!

In the book collection there were many hits from the Carter years published by the Delta Press with such titles as "Surviving the Collapse", "Defending your Retreat", and "101 Places to Hide Things from the Government". I thought that was very timely.

Oh, and they suggest Armalite AR15, Rem 870, Cold 1911, & a Rem 10-22 for small game. All with 5000+ rounds.
WOW! I've never even heard of those books let alone the "shopping list" of must have's...I just figured +1,000 rounds per gun would be sufficient. The way I see it, if I plow through all my shot shells, center fire cartiges and "varmit" ammo, I've got a much more serious problem than running simply out of ammo...

On "not enough ammo"...

Rent the "Mad Max" trilogy. Like I said, Mel Gibson is a racist freak but it's th' sci-fi answer to "How bad can it get?" I especially like Max's dogleg double-barrel sawed-off and the scene where he's rollin' around on the hood of th' tanker tryin' to retrieve his lost ammo...

Oh, yeah. You need a 10-22. It's easy to stack up 5000 rounds fer that and it's just the ticket fer small game.

Glock + steel mag = chewed-up mag catch. :(

How much small game is there going to be for us?

1 year of one can of something per day, that should be the first order, then you need something to protect that with.

This isn't about preparing for a meltdown than it is just making a stand for independance.

Independance?! ROFLMAO! What a joke that's become!

Don't tread on me.

Puh-lenty!

Forget about runnin' outta ammo, just get yer Nuge approved compound bow. Use yer arrows over and over...

Or set yer 5150s up next to a prairie dog town. When them suckers pop their heads up give 'em a big ol' open "A" chord and a blast o' feedback. Any survivors, club 'em to death wif yer Byrdland.

Rosie O' will be down to 110 pounds by then. She'll be singin' a different tune when she bellies up to the Nuge approved all-meat buffet.

That is what is mind boggling.
The people chose a president that promised change and hope.

He promised to cut the taxes of the middle class.

But that is looking like it will be $65 per month.
O joy!
From what I read about my state, that 65.00 will just about  offset the proposed tax increases that the terminator and his band of idiots will implement.. But they are suspending their pay increases during deficit years. I say BFD!!! Now if they were to PENALIZE those incompetents with a 20% pay decrease during deficit years, I'd say they would be doing something productive. Looks like it's less services for more money to me. Now that's progress.

God Bless,
John

Now yer talkin' mister. John (the voodoooman) fer governor!!

A and I liked Tricky Dick too. After all we'd still have economic sanctions on China if it wern't for him. There wouln'd be a Wal*Mart if it wasn't for the Dickster. Just think of all the good his initiatives in the far east fostered. A and he got us out of Viet Nam with honor too. We're all Keynsian's now he said. What a guy.

But... but... what's gonna happen when China gets tired o' buyin' our debt?!

One could take the Buddhist stance on Viet Nam and just say it wasn't meant to be. That party was guaranteed to collapse on itself one way or another, sooner or later.

These crappy little wars are like Nationalistic Herpes, they're persistent cold sores that pop up every couple decades one way or another without fail. That's friggin' herpes for ya, ya just had to go stick yer face in there, dincha?

So we go and spend $3 trillion to upset the balance of power in the Middle East. Sure, Hussein was a prick. Lotta that goin' around! A prick in Iraq to keep the pricks in Iran busy is a screwed up balance but it was a balance.

That $3 trillion would be mighty handy right about now.

I've said this before, the Afghanis won a war of attrition wif little more than sticks 'n' rocks. O.k., maybe sticks 'n' rocks 'n' small arms funneled in by covert ops through the Khyber Pass. So... explain this to me so it makes sense... we bleed a different color than the Russians?!

Insane.

In one post, you let her lose 900 pounds, in another post you put cheese and sauce on her.

It seems we should eat her first, before she resorts to small game.
