If someone wants to delete all their posts, then wipe em out, for good, it looks ridiculous having "deleted" all over the place.
We've all deleted a couple here and there, but when it's a full on "flounce" or "toys out of pram" as we call it on UK forums, then they and their empty posts should go.

Other than that, this place works really well most of the time. Let it stay that way :D

I don't care if info vanishes as I can always start a new post and ask about it, but I agree that (deleted) written down a page over and over sort of sucks. How about we replace (deleted) with something from the Random Haiku Generator:

http://www.everypoet.com/haiku/

I'm not kidding either, it's just the goofy wannabe yippie in me, serious is for cancer, war, gas explosions. Remember the Watergate Papers relentless (expletive deleted)s? Now imagine the publisher had access to a Random Haiku Generator - much better right!

Maybe someone with programming skills can write a script that when (deleted) is seen a new random haiku is called up and put in place?

Hi,

my first post to this forum was an expression of sympathy for Matt.

The deletions seem to cost more to him than us.

It's a real pleasure and privilege to be a small part of this place.

Take care now......

Those are some pretty darn good off the cuff Dumble poems. Please put me on the waiting list for the new TAG Anthology of Tube Amp Poetry.
