He's big in Japan. Saw Waits in the 70's open a show for Ry Cooder. I've been a huge fan since.

oh yeah mule variations! that was one of the few albums i did have, with bone machine, big time and lots of other single songs
im lost in franks wild years, i love hearing the recorded versions vs the live performances from big time

Been listening to a Head East CD in the car lately. Some variety/best of thing a friend put together. I forgot what a good, straight forward rock band they were. I remember (barely) seeing them live a couple times in the 70's. Always a good, professional rock show.
