That really nice Myles. Love that. The gold hardware really works well there

Just off the bench. Waiting for the nitro to shrink back before I cut it and flash coat it. Haven't even built the truss cover yet. 7.8 lbs and the serial number is my brothers birth date with a 1 after it stamped into the fretboard after the last fret. Plays like a Gibson

Thanks, Tom! I was looking for a contrasting pinup to put on it but what contrasts against silver sparkle? Jack Hooie, that's what.
Did final setup and I got the nut slotted down like a worn vintage piece. The action is stunningly low all over and it can still pull up 3/4 step at on the G without any fretting out. Magic arrived in my mailbox in 8 shipments. What are the odds? Jack Hooie, that's the odds!

I still say the silver sparkle with the gold hardware is Liberace. Maybe you can find a pinup of him

my electric: Carvin Bolt Plus, super lightweight one piece swamp-ash body, maple neck and fret board. bought it as a kit for ~$650 shipped, hard case too! made a few upgrades, graphtech ivory nut, zebra coils, graphtech saddles, sperzel locking tuners
thought i would share now that i have a good camera phone, she is a beauty and plays like a dream, love her 'beauty spot' on the lower horn, grain is tighter on the treble side and wider on the bass end, IDK if that factors into anything, but i am certainly appreciative, backwards just seems wrong...
PLUS, all made in America by Carvin Corp in Sandy Eggo! America, fuck yeah! comin again to save the muthafuckin day yeah!
Corn Hole!!!

Carvin!
I am having a second honeymoon with my CT6. It fell out of favor for a few years because it's not as lively a guitar as some others. It's a really solid build, with a medium chunky neck, and really nice, but it doesn't resonate as easily as some. The pickups are very bright. Well, I've found that I just need to play with the tone control turned down most of the time, and it warms right up. In fact, this makes a treble boost available when I want crunch.
Anyway, in love again. Very flexible guitar, with the coil tap, and I've been playing it exclusively in my covers band. Photo from a few years back, playing in Mike Comfort band.

Great silver sparkle Miles! The mint guard looks a little overwhelmed though. Have you thought about a mother of toilet seat guard, or a plain aluminum plate?
